Colleen and Paul’s wedding has been a long time coming – 15 years to be exact! They are high school sweethearts, and most definitely two peas in a pod. Spending time with them is a lot of fun, and you can immediately sense the mutual love and respect these two have for one another!
A few weeks back, we met up with Colleen, Paul and their bulldog Rocco to photograph their Engagement Session at the Grist Mill in Sudbury. Rocco was a good sport, but started to lose interest halfway through the session. Good thing Uncle Joe was there to take him home once he decided he was ready to leave! We spent the rest of the session getting silly and having fun – I have quite honestly never seen a woman so gracious about her fiancé wearing a Star Wars t-shirt to a portrait session!
We narrowly escaped a dismal weather forecast for the big day – rain, rain and more rain. Thankfully, we caught a break and the day dawned bright and clear, and a little bit on the cooler side – an absolutely PERFECT day for a New England fall wedding!
Colleen and Paul chose to see each other before the wedding – a decision that we always encourage! After spending some intimate moments capturing their First Glance – and rescuing Paul’s brother Joe from the grips of Colleen’s veil - we gathered everyone together for some formal photos, before Colleen and Paul were whisked away to get ready for their vows (much to the delight of family and friends who had been waiting far too long for this moment)!
Many thanks to Renaissance Country Club, Brasco Florist, Jacques Pastries and DJ Paul Brogna for an amazing evening had by all! And here’s wishing Colleen and Paul many years of happiness!
