Michelle and Jon met 6 years ago when they were set up on a double date with mutual friends, and they’ve been best friends ever since! Jon decided to pop the question over dinner at their favorite restaurant, but Winter Storm Nemo decided to pay a visit that weekend, so he had to quickly make other plans. Jon decided to have a nice, quiet dinner at home and hid the ring in the last place Michelle would ever expect – the freezer! Over a couple of cocktails “on the rocks” Michelle said “YES!” and the rest is history! :-)
Michelle and Jon’s Engagement Session was in the Japanese Garden at Roger Williams Park. They brought their rescue dog Penny along for some “family” photos and while we did manage to get a few great shots, Penny quickly lost interest and decided she’d rather spend some quality time with her Aunt Chrissy. So while Penny was off on her own adventures, we spent the rest of the session capturing some great images of Michelle and Jon and having an absolute blast!
Fast forward to their beautiful wedding day: the ceremony was held at St. Bernard’s Church in Assonet, with a reception following at the Hawthorne Country Club in Dartmouth. Many thanks to Cynthia Monroe who put together a beautiful array of flowers, and Nancy’s Bakery who created the delicious cupcake display. And with music by Matt Ezyk of Allan M Entertainment, we all had a fantastic time celebrating Michelle and Jon!
Congratulations, and best wishes for many happy years together! XO
